1. IGF NRI session participation

  • Responsible governance of new and emerging digital technologies
    • Important not to focus only on AI, but use the AI regulation as an example to illustrate how new and emerging tech could be regulated
    • Consider comparative practices and how multistakeholder principle is positioned in regard to these technologies’ regulation
    • Consider addressing need/concept of cooperation; and ethical aspects
  • Addressing disinformation and misinformation in the context of political elections
    • Consider addressing role of AI; and accountability of social media; as well as end-user protection
  • Inclusion of underserved countries in DNS industry
    • Ensure the scope is broader and simplify the wording to make it understandable to all stakeholders
  • Judith will be in Riyadh (Emerging Technology Organizing)
  • The DNS topic receives some resistance
  • Topic deadline is April 30
